I've never seen a cheater quite so stupid in GM before. The things is - he can bid for you, and he can roll the dice for you. He rarely uses the second option though. I mean.. his cheating is so damn easy to spot that it's almost funny. When I tried to talk to him/her about it and said I will report, he acted like he didn't even understand what I was talking about etc. I just played him about 15-20 minutes ago, at 23:15? it was originally a 3p game but the first player left right after the game had begun. I don't actually know if this kind of cheating is as easy to spot as I first thought, for mods, or even checkable. Even if it's not, just play with him, when possible, and if you c him cheating , come and post it here. I think you probably haven't heard much about this guy yet, as his points are just over 3000.

Eh? Im saying that he's a cheater who can control your moves during the game, also do them for you. If that's what you meant by taking over my account, then possibly- yes. It's kinda hard to explain as I've never seen anything like it before.

Receive, firstly I do not ban players for months, certainly not without evidence that's for sure.
Secondly I see nothing in the chat other than you saying islandking has been reported before, but I can't find that on a search. So am I missing something here?

You are reporting that either the player has hacked into your computer in order to take control of your bidding and rolling dice. Or that he/she some how managed to hack into the game.

Now this is quite some report, which if verified would of course carry the biggest punishment going for hacking software or players.

I am though puzzled how the player is still losing games with such hacking ability?

More info is needed I think.

Although if this is a hoax complaint I do feel maybe the reporter should be held accountable.

We shall see if Bill has any thoughts, or if further reports come in.

well i was in a 5p just bought 3rd red had no connection problems...start was still 200 plus and wham i was kicked out of game.

i say kicked as i ended up back in lobby. it was not a dc and my gut instinct made me feel it was more of a kick than anything else. i have spoken to other players (about 3/4 ) and they say same thing happened to them.

now there is either a bug in the game or someone is playing silly buggers...i tend to lean toward a bug in game. so i can understand receive saying something strange is going on

Helen, on your problem, i can only sympathise, as i have been a victim of that myself about 3 or 4 times now, last time being yesterday when i was kicked , and it is ALWAYS AFTER an auction.
it is a bug in the game , and i have emailed kreso 3 times about it now in the last 6weeks asking something to be sorted because about a month ago i had 8 complaints in 3 hours about it.

Now , as for the ''controlling'' of someones pc.
First let me say , i KNOW it is IMPOSSIBLE for it to be done through GM , as it is not a remote device in which you can hack to auto-click players screen,

actually , im not going to explain this , as i feel i could lose alot of you, or just baffle you with b/s but no it is not possible,

I would also like to say this, that anyone who thinks they are bright enough to go through regedit to edit ANY of the basic game commands, like start money etc, will find that the server is one step ahead of them and the game recognises that its structure has been altered and that player auto-matically becomes banned.
This happened 2 years ago where a player was reported as the game started because everyone had usual start money 3500, and this one guy had 10000 cash from the start, this player got kicked and banned straight away by the game itself and then the player came to forum complaining about being banned, FOOl.

bill the auction was over with and it was not directly after auction by that i mean if i recall correctly it was 2 turns after the auction was held.........it was not my go......i was waiting for someone else to roll but yeah there is definitely a bug in game.i was so po i lost 6k for no reason

Roughly how many games have you played with Islandking, just to get an idea if this is a repeated issue or one off strange occurrence. It might be your computer had a delayed response to your own clicks perhaps?
