Hi,
I want to talk about the current status of the new magnate.
As I wrote earlier, there are three problems:
1. design
2. speed
3. bugs
Design.
After talking with the old players , we understand the weaknesses of the new design : too gaudy - tired eyes, prevents focus on the most important elements , awkward interface .

We are working on the redesign of all versions.
Speed.
We removed all the possible delays except for the network losses, and now the speed is very close to the old game. Also in the next version, we add a function avtoroll for further optimization.
Bugs.
A lot of them corrected, many more remain. We will correct up to their complete disappearance.
As for the fate of the old game, now I have no plans for its closure, but after we finish to a good state the new game we will redirect galacticmag.com to the playmagnate.com. This will mean that new players will not be able to download the old game, but older players will be able to play as before.

Ouch. I can see the unattractive design from those screenshots. The overuse of bright primary colors can turn one off. I'd suggest on warm or dark but gentle hues of neutral colors. Purples, indigos, greys, light whites, etc. Something close to the original design, but just enough to divert from it for aesthetic appeal and/or copyright, if such is necessary.

As for the Old GM, I get the need for a redirect, but I'd like for an alternate link to be available for "Classic GM" to be downloaded in its current state. I understand that no new updates will be added, but to make it unable for new players to access would be an unfortunate loss. How about uploading the game's software to an alternate download link? If necessary, make it into a Zip, Rar, or other file archive to be redistributed. I'd recommend Zip, as it's the most compatible, and MediaFire.com for cloud storage.

So what happened to the redesign? even though i still think the redesign is not good.....the current desktop version is too horrendous to play. I have literally gone from playing 2 to 3 games of gm a day, down to 1 game of new magnate a week. Games are still too long and slow on the new version. 4 player games lasting well over 1 hour.
I literally cannot stomach more than 1 game because it makes me feel ill.

Why did you have to take a fantastic game, with a good game design which had been tried and tested for many years and change it to something so horrendous on the eyes that you cannot play.
I have been logging into the lobby a few times a day, looking at who is in the lobby and who is in games since old GM went down. I have still not seen a single old gm user on the new version. Whilst some may well have changed their user names, I find it speaks volumes that nobody from gm seems to be playing on new magnate even when gm is down!

Please sort out the new version of GM to something old users can play and enjoy. So far you have only ruined what was a great game.

I try för at go in a game every 2 days.... , But said if I need a new vergion.....

not impressed...at all....

completely in control of game and the game just jammed and gave the win to someone who was due to die very soon, I had thousands in cash this should not have happened.

Please correct my record to where it was before the game.

People are paying cash for this, not acceptable sorry.

Game finished 20 mins ago or so.

RECOMENDATIONS

Make the whites whiter and the blacks blacker to distinguish them more

on trades show colour more not individual card picture - your looking for a white not a train (which is one in 40)

make fortunes flash up longer, you cant tell what has happened sometimes

CARD AND PLAYER COLOUR needs to be more prominent - this is so key - it has been addressed but more effort is needed here, primary colours are strong etc

The game is very good and the amazing game play of kreso's original is still in there.

Just the final touches are needed and you will have something awesome here - amazing progress to date
