i was playing as hoskinsdan23 in 4p with ing1, nestle, tomboyisturtle
ing1 had it locked with greens built, 3 white, decent cash, and start about 0
tomboy had 2nd clear
ing1 bought browns for 1000, giving 3rd to nestle with no benefit for himself

He was refering to ing1 not getting any benefit. He had first already so to trade only benefited you. Thats what dan was saying.

Turtle had good money and ing did benefit from trade getting set and building on that set. Also if you thought it was a cheat trade then why did you then try to sell ing the orange set for 700??? Then a few other trades. Ing did not have cash to build on your orange set after buying and building on the brown. Maybe the other player getting the trade before you upset you but that does not make it cheating especially when you tried the same. Please remember we do see all offers whether accepted or not and do look at the whole game and the props owned by others and monies. Also first is not locked because you have green built, many with green built have lost.

I wasn't complaining about nestle, I was complaining about ING! Nestle didn't need or get any consideration from Cyn.

Cyn, the reason I offered the group to Ing was so he would have given equal or near advantage to me, so there would have been no change in strength in the 3rd-4th fight. Nestle admits the trade put Nestle 3rd. Ing taking my offer would have put me back to 3rd, maybe.

Maybe we need a feature, when one has clear advantage, the other players can lock her out of trades while conceeding 1st place. Then there is no messing around with 2-3-4. Not sure how to administer it. Generally, if one player has visions of winning, he will want to trade with any but the leader, so no conflict there.

Another possibility would be a trade reversal option, to take place after the questionable trade, where the player or players not trading can agree to conceed the win to the leader, reversing the trade after it is made, restoring to the situation pre-trade. Again, if one of the non-trading players imagines winning, she would refuse the conceed-and-trade-reversal. The trade would only reverse if all the non-trading players agree to conceed the win and restore the game to the pre-trade situation.
