Post subject: 2x2 game |
|
|
I have read the discussion about 2x2 game. We can include this type of the game in the second release. Would it be interesting? And what specific should such game have.
1. algorithm of points distribution?
2. should we have extra rules for this type?
3. when does the team win?
4. how players in one team should trade property between them?
Please suggest your ideas/share 2x2 experience |

Hi there,
Thanks for looking to include the 2v2 format in the new version.
Its an interesting way to play within the set parameters of the games logic.
I don't think it will be too difficult for you to add this in.
The rules for playing should follow something like I mention below, I'm sure others will give some input to as I doubt I'll cover everything -
1) teams are decided
2) enter game
3) when a property goes up for sale, all players can bid to any price they like
4) players can only trade with their own team mate
5) the price paid between team players is always set at the base value of the property e.g. red 600
6) cash and properties can be used for trades in every permutation e.g. yellow 900 and 2 white 1000 total 1900 can be traded for 1900 cash or 2 purple (1600) and 300 cash etc (sorry if i got the prices wrong)
7) The last player standing decides which team has won!
A strategy for playing this format involves one member of the team being the buyer and the other member becomes the income generator
I guess something would have to be decided on points. An even split between the winners would be needed. Setting the amount of points played for - i have no idea and will leave that decision to you guys.

Thank you very much, It looks a little bit tricky for me. I do not understand how we could detect winner. |

the winnerS are the team who are the last in the game - i.e. under normal game conditions the winner is the player last in the game
hope that is clearer

Ju basically summed it all up. What I can add is for players to try to find teammates close to your ranking. Heh. |
