On Friday, October 14th, there was a 5 player game including me, bybys, baboon, Gaurang and peterparker, ending about 4pm GMT. Bybys resigned early. When starting point was around recession, peterparker sold baboon the second yellow, which he had acquired shortly before, for 600. We all still had abundant cash at that time. I think the deal did not give peterparker much benefit, but it won baboon the game which had otherwise been pretty much open. Also, 600 for second yellow is below minimum price and did make a difference even at recession when baboon had enough cash to build it.

After recession it is common for properties to go below starting price. Before recession a property should not be sold below starting price, after recession it should not be sold below credit value.
Baboon made the offer to Peterparker. It did benefit both players, while possibly borderline, trades are rarely completely even. You had blue fully upgraded so this did give you competition and it ended up with Baboon taking 1st, Gaurang 2nd, Peterparker 3rd and you 4th. While it was a spoiler trade for you it was not for the other 3 players.
