What I'm sure of is the fact is that bans are implemented on the client side. The client checks if it is banned, and then disconnects from the server. Which is why the linux client (Probably not written by Kreso) just ignores the ban.
As for other things, I am moving into the realm of guesswork. I guess that most of the things are implemented server side, and some may be implemented on the client side. Try to disassemble the client code and see! I have heard rumours of people messing around with the registry and starting with a cash amount greater than other players. Don't know if that's true. If it's true, then the start cash may be one of the things that are set on client side. |
