Just a heads up to everyone light blues fully upgrades with 4 electricitys is better then purples with 2 upgrades and 3 extractors with everything else equal...... i figured this out as the game was tied score wise and i was using leveling strategy up to that point. late |

Thats an interesting idea. : D I wonder if 2 yellows and 4 extractors would be equal to those? |

that may not always be true. remember luck is a factor and sometimes it seems like your getting stuck in a rut. both are great combos, but what good is a set if no one lands on it. |

I would image as only 3 white stated the other player likely owns the 4th.
So it would be:
1 player
light blue (200 a hit)
4 utilities 150 a hit
and 1 extractor (90 income a hit)
2 player
3 extractors (130 income a hit)
3 pink 2 upgrades (270 a hit)
Now 4 black and 1 white do generally over power 3 white
then cyan against pink...whilst cyan have a lower income by 70 due to position on the board compared to pink (next to jail) they do have a generally speaking higher hit rate.
So on maths it would work that you would expect to win with the properties of player 1 to player 2.
However cash amounts and at what point in the game you get the sets against the other player and cost of buying can alter this too. |

Well that is obvious.
3 Light blues = $1,200 swing factor
4 Utilities = $1,200 swing factor
1 Extractor = $180 (no swing but double the chance of hitting)
Total= $2580 in potential swing per revolution.
3 Purples = $1080 swing factor
3 Extractors = $780
Total= $1860 in potential swing P/R
This is quite a big difference and imagine this would have not been very close.
The opponent really should have upgraded purples more. If they upgraded them to level 5 their potential swing would be $2880. _________________ I am the artist formally known as FINGERBANG! |
