Please can all post player numbers IN GAME whenever they log into GM.

Please post at the time you do /count_users command so we have the time on forum to compare to.

I want to see for real how numbers really are. Out of interest.


Right now 26 online

there are several reasons for it, of which a couple are obvious

I actually logged in on a Saturday recently during the day which is normally the most busy time and if i remember correctly it was less then 26 and i remember i was surprised how few people there were


what time of day and on what day did you see there were 26 trace?


even if we track how many are logged in regularly now, how do we have anything to compare it to? It would take months if not years of tracking it this way to see if there are any noticeable changes.



now that even Judd says there's less people I think I have to believe it is true..........

See there is a difference between # of regular players playing and the galacticmag.com site traffic........ they're kinda different topics but ultimately would be interdependent b/c eventually there would be less and less regular players if fewer and fewer people ever make it to the site b/c we all know very few players stay active with GM for very long


I mostly just wonder about this b/c of the number of active people in the forum defn. seems less then it was this year even at this time of year compared to the last 2, i can tell b/c if i dont login for a few weeks there aren't that many new posts compared to how it was before and i really think it has something to do with numbers of new players,


***** I would have to say though the # of players in the forum dwindling defn has something to do with triple HHH's position of the game............. and I will not deny I may have had a part in maybe a few players not wanting to come to the forum, well maybe just one that I can think of off hand who specifically said he wouldnt come to the forum anymore b/c of me but that player got banned anyways and isnt here anymore **************


it might be possible to determine overall player drops if there's some type of log showing all new players to register with the game and when they registered and track it back a few years by #'s of new players per month

I would have no idea how to determine # of active players who say have logged in within the last one week and see if this number is dropping
