I propose we setup a match game for 3p games. No doubt, 3p is the most challenging form of GM. It can be a gruelling, intense game on many levels. It rewards all the great trading skills of 4/5 p as well as the pure strategical ideas in 2p such as bankroll control, bluffing, etc.

Since 3p is the sexiest form of GM; we could call the challenge the InterGallactic Menage a trois

Idea... 3 game match, with a point system.

For each game:

1st gets 2 points.
2nd gets 1 point.
3rd gets 0 points.


At the end of all 3 games, add up the points. Highest gets 2/3 of the entry pool. 2nd gets 1/3, breaking even. 3rd lost out his entry fee.

This setup would have less "gamble", which should encourage friendly play. Since 3p primarilly appeals to experts, i propose this be a higher stakes game of say 20-50 K.

The way we might deal with ties could add some strategic depth to the match:

In the event of a tie for 1st place, the last place loser still gets nothing. Split the prizes 50/50 between 1st and 2nd.

In the event of a 3 way tie, all players get 33%. Players simply get their entry fees back.

In the event of a tie for last place, the bottom two lose their entry fee and the sole winner gets 100%.
