Post subject: Recommendation for 2p challenges and Casino games |
|
|
I can see how giving out points might begin to become a nightmare for the mods. I propose a few things to make life easier.
1. In a 2p challenge, you cannot play anyone who your rating is more than 5x higher. This is necessary, since if you play 5x, the lower player's rating already drop to nearly 0.
example: player A has 100k, player B has 20k. 16% win result = .16 * (100k+20k) = 19200. after the match, player A has 119200, but player B dropped all the way down to 800.
2. You cannot play more than one 2p challenge with the same player in the same day. This will avoid any confusion about what points are awarded. It also will avoid the scenario of an expert "picking" on a lower rated player and busting his account.
3. In a casino game, you cannot risk all your points. I doubt the intention of casion was to allow a player to go "doulbe or nothing." Perhaps a player should not risk more than than what it requires to have 5k left if they lose?
Thanks again to the mods for coming with new exciting ways to play GM! |

Judd is right, I'd forgotten about that it still only matches 5x even unrated.
I agree though will all Eclectico's suggestions. |
