how about You try to be positive sometime? |
I'm going to go out on a limb and say its alot easier to find the commands on the website than on the forum. New users are not very likely to search the forum for in-game commands.
The most logical place to look is the game website.
Helen is correct, this has been posted previously. At least twice.
However, there is nothing inherently wrong with someone trying to help out the other users of the forum. Not everyone checks the site and not everyone remembers the commands.
I see no harm in letting everyone know them again. If it bothers someone to re-read a previously discussed topic they do not have to view it or reply. _________________ All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be |

At first I thought /players displayed every player online but I found out it shows 1 through 10. To see further, you enter /players 10, or /players 20, etc until it says "none" after entering. Here's an example of what it looks like:
/players 10
(players from 10)
jackminnow (11254) in game [33:25]
thedude (2556)
coolguy (8890)
personson (25606) in game [33:25]
examplename (183476) in game [11:23]
fakeuser (223412) in game [11:23]
notreal (100786) in game [11:23]
coldtaco (9908)
iloverock (8765)
gopanthers (22345)
/players 20
none
and so forth...
To change Lobbies, I have no idea... |

Thanks for rehashing this Steve... And I am sure it will have positive benefits to newer players.
I reckon whether there are tips on the website or on here (or both as in this case) there is absolutely NO harm in rehashing this as many times as you like. To me, having this kind of informatiuon in two or more places just increases the chance it will be read.

yahoo, i mainly use this function to see who all's playing but not in the lobby. that way, i can whisper to them to see if they want to chat or have a game whenever they're done. also, the /player listings tell you how long the person has been in the game, so you know if they've just started, or if they're probably nearing the end. _________________ if seeing is believing, then believe that we have lost our eyes |
