hi just finished 4p games and want to report Sheikomar for cheat trade

Players:

1. Wind_Storm
2. cetnik
3. sheikomar
4. battle 77


On approximatly -200 or something, cannot remember exactly, SheikOmar who only looked for greens got fed up to wait for 3rd green and gave 2 greens and about 4,5k cash to battle77 in exchange for 2 oranges!?!?!?!?!? He offered the same deal to me, I warned other people in chat, you can checked this on chat log in the game, but battle77 accepted this cheat deal.
He was winning anyway and I do not understand why would he need to accept this cheat deal. I checked on forum that there were previously complains on sheikomar, similar situation.

reducing 50% of their points wouldn't be a proper penalty cos he got 3k points for this game (before the game he had only 6k) and then if you put him down on 4.5k is not enough.

Please investigate it!

There were 2 trades:

Trade:
From SheikOmar to battle77
Cash: -4519

Taking 2 orange and giving 2 green

Trade:
From SheikOmar to battle77
Cash: 100

Giving 2 yellow and 2 orange.

Both players points reduced by 50%.

Both players also banned for 30 days for 2 very cheat trades in 1 game.

On the first occasion I gave only -50% points, obviously not enough.
When someone cheats so blatantly more than once in a game and has been reported before what else do you propose we do?

Can I also add that when I am doing a trading complaint I see every trade proposed by that user name on that day.

If I see very bad trading offers/accepted prior to finding the obviously 100% cheat trade I certainly have to question the players trading behaviour. I also check for previous reported complaints and what action was taken.

nobody say that it is not allowed before, only recently i accept the offer from SheikOmar. After that CPBNH say me that is not allowed and i was amazed, but it was to late.

there are a few high pointers who coninually offer blatant cheat trades in games


eg i was in a 4p wheere a player who is experienced traded 3rd black for $549.


yes admittedly cash was low for all players .. however the start was s $115 and the experienced player should have waited and made a decent offer for 3rd black ....3rd black for 549 is not a trade but outright theft.

my point is if a relatively new players continue to see experienced players making dodgy trades then they think anything is acceptable.

after all, experienced players should be the ones setting the standard for fair trading

i agree helen, but what new players are seeing is experianced players offering low amount trades, but do not know how to look past the initial trade and understand why the trade is done and what the benefits/losses of the trade are.

for example, i know that when i see a players money depreciating i will make an offer which is beneficial to help their cause but i wont go offering the normal price of around 1500 for 4th white for example,

what i'm saying is, everything is not just black and white, sometimes there are coloured pieces inbetween which others dont understand, and this is why there is so much controversy around the trading policies, and punishments,
it is something that will never change and probably will only ever get worse and the more players we get will create more complaints, but what i dont see is players(of experiance) tearing into moderators just doing their job.


which do people want here? a well policed game which has the odd questionable action, OR a gm world of controversy and corruption amongst the ranks , and have people running amok ruining the experiance of the game ?


again it is trace that people are questioning, but yet it is the very same people that go running to her instantly when they want something sorting out.

Ok let me explain why I wrote here and reported this cheat trade. I received the same unfair offer from another guy and I didn't accept it. I warned all other players that he is trying to make mess. Battle could see this and he saw my message and nevertheless accept this cheat trade and made another one later. This could be checked on chat log in the game.

Battle is not a new player. If somebody played 159 games, he is not a new player. He is even not telling the truth.

And anyway, just if he is a new player, pure logic says: how would I fill if the other 2 players did such a trade!!!!

I complain here often because I quite frequently play against people who do rubbish! And I will always complain about something like this.

Otherwise playing against people with such a behaviour doesn't make sense.
