This post has been reposted after, in continuing abuse of his powers, Judd hid the original post, so it could only be seen by mods, banned me and booted me.

I'd like to post a complaint for abusive language and abusing his position as mod from Judd.

Just finished a 4p game at about 19:02 GMT.

At about -450 on start, and Koyaanisqati and trace567 are involved in a fight for 1st place, while Judd and I were battling to avoid last place.

I sold 4 whites to Koyaanisqati for 1200 just before I passed go. This basically gave him a better chance of first, and saved me from last place. That is, it directly helped both of our chances in the game, and is thus the definition of a good trade.

It sent Judd into a torrent of abuse, threatening to zero my points and calling us both "wankers," and more.

It is not acceptable from a mod, firstly because it is abusive, secondly because it is an abuse of his position, and thirdly because it strongly suggests he doesn't know the rules.


He has just booted me from lobby and threatened to delete this complaint.

He has just booted me twice more.

And now he has booted me a bunch of times.

I would like all the lobby chat logs from 19:00-19:22 read as well as those of the game.

I would now like all the logs going up to 19:36 to be read, and for any discussion of the event that went on after I was banned and booted to also be read.

I want Judd removed as a mod and banned.

he didnt delete your post he moved it to the mod section. i am sure bill will review the whole situation. Please remember mods are human and have emotions too. he became upset and while it may not have been handled right it needs to be addressed by mods and bill and im sure the appropriate action will be taken.

I know mods are human. But Judd is a particularly vindictive, arrogant and emotional one. He's unfit to be a mod.

This really is an open and shut case. Here is Kreso's definition of cheating:

my 2 cents:

As EC was rolling around, both crabbs and Judd were about to go broke. I offered 3 times to buy Judd's brown set for different dollar amounts. If at any time he would have sold those, he probably would have gotten 3rd, not last place. Instead, he refused. Eventually MrCrabbs saw an opportunity to sell and offered. Even then, I didn't take, but offered much lower. In short, it is clear there was no cheating and Judd simply didn't take advantage of an opportunity that Crabbs did.

About the swearing, acusations, etc... Judd, do you really think crabbs cheats? He's a good, honest player. For whatever reasons his personality gets on your nerves, you really have no grounds to boot him, move his posts, and cerainly not ban him. MrCrabbs, I know it seems like you were unfairly the victim of mod abuse. But, if you didn't egg him on a bit, this would have blown over.

I enjoy playing with both you guys. I hope you can get over the personal issues.

Thanks Eclectico. Can you also confirm that Judd was trying to sell to you brown at a high price, ie: that he was willing to sell, willing to do exactly what I did.

OK I have spoken to both Eclectico and Trace, who both agree that, helping both players as it did, this trade was fair.

That means it is the unanimous view of all players in the game that the trade was fair, except for Judd.

I want my ban lifted and him punished for this behaviour. Very likely he was on a cocktail of medical painkillers and alcohol, but he is responsible for his actions, and this is an utter abuse of privilege.

The TRADE:-
as all of you have posted , the trade itself was to better the position of 2 players , so DID benefit 2 players, and as i said to Mrcrabbs last week, in EC property values are whatever you can get for them, as any amount is a profit in EC because it will definately benefit you with a sudden cash influx.

As for Judd, i need to read the logs, but if this profound complaint is to be proved right, i will have to ban you from the game UNTIL Kreso, comes to the game and removes your mod rights, as i cannot risk another outbreak like this until you have been stripped of mod powers.

I'll do a seperate post soon to my friends, however, when it is 800 for passing go, and you are out if you pass it, buying 4 whites for 1200 shows that there was teeming in operation to manage me out of the game.

I have seen many posts & complaints on here about late trading, some even believe trading when passing go costs over 250 is not in the spirit of the game.

However, electico had the option to save crabbs (they play all night together as i used to have visibility) and took it.

like i said, i'll do a post to my friends later tonight (in the announcements section), and i ask a moderator to kindly lock the new topic and allow no further posts to the thread.

but I have to agree with mrcrabbs. @ -450 past go selling his whites to stay alive seems to me like a good trade to increase his chances of not coming last. I see no teaming in his objective as it bennifited both him and the person he sold the whites to. although I'd still like to see you retain your modship status I would hope this matter could be cleared up as practable as possible. but this will be up to the mods...kreso and the community to decide whether you are mature enough to retain this position

I will return as a non mod, and have no intention of putting in the amount of time i did into the game again.

If I'm asked to help, I will more than happy do so, however I will return as a player only but will also help out new players like I always did.

The game needs as many players as it can get and if everyone played a 1000 point player every day and explained and taught the game and interface to them, participation levels would be collosal. A little food for thought there.

Judd there is no question that I was teaming up with Eclectico.

-I was seeking a trade with trace too, and had been trying to get a trade with her involving green for many previous turns. But at that crucial point she hadn't as much money to buy with.

-I am friends with trace just as I am with Eclectico.

-You claimed during the game that I had sold the whites to Eclectico too cheaply, and it was cheating trace out of the game. Now you claim Eclectico was buying them, and we did it to cheat you out of the game. Which is it?
