If you are Stringing:
Do say yes to recessions and meteor showers
Do sell them everything
Do allow them to get a monopoly that is inefficient in 2p (Oranges, Browns, Yellow)
Do not go to bonus if given the option
Do not go to jail
Do not give them an opportunity to save up cash (Unless you plan on giving them an inefficient monopoly)
Do not let them buy EVERYTHING, you will need at least one monopoly (most of the time)
Do not buy a property you intend to upgrade for a lot of money, buy it cheap or don't buy at all unless its the last monopoly
If you are Leveling
Do not buy three of utilities or extractors
Do not buy a monopoly in which has less value than theirs
Do buy the first utility/extractors so that they do not realize you plan to level
Do give the opponent the assumption that you are planniing on straight going
Do not give the opponent the assumption you are stringing until it is his turn to buy his side
If you are Straight Going-
Do not buy something for a ridiculous price (See next post)
Do not become set on any one peice
Do not bid on a peice you want if you believe that your opponent will block you
Do not have 1 or 2 extractors/utilities unless you are blocking when you already have a set
Do buy extractors and utilities
If you are Strategic Stringing-
Do make your opponent believe that you do not want the peice you are bidding
Do bluff
Do bid on properties even when you have little money
Do go to bonus
Do not go to recession or meteor shower
Do cry if your opponent hits that last green when you have 0 cash
Do not upgrade a weak monopoly unless your opponent's chances of obtaining a set soon is weak.
Do go to the restroom if you need to. _________________ If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them. |

Stringing = a strategy in which one tries to spread their opponent accross the board.
Leveling = a strategy in which a player attempts to ensure that each player(s) have equal property values _________________ If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins.
