Ok I think a lot of people would agree that reading your opponent in this game can be quite important. Such as auctions, how high to go, will they buy it etc etc. Anyway I got to wondering....(well ya know me lol)

Most players always use the same playing piece, some might choose it based on colour, some the character name or even where it is in the choice such as central.

I was wondering if it were possible to use the choice of character/colour piece that someone plays with to see what kind of person and player they might be.

What ya reckon? or have i just totally lost it

i play with looney and scientist but i play different every game any that has played me will tell u i only play bout 3 different strategy's and for this reason i now try not to play the well known players often as they read me too well in games,

I play as yellow the merchant, and second choice is currently red cheat. I used to play as looney for ages, not sure why I changed.

Anyway after I posted this thread I looked up colours online and what it said for yellow was a little scarily true for me. But then that was only one of the sites of plenty to choose from.

Me play as cheat for first choice. Second choice, is theif or geek or lunatic. Third choice is between the 2 that no make second choice. Fourth choice is 1 that no make third choice.
And fifth choice.... mmmm, I sure it wont happen- where I play a 5 player game where I get to choose my character last and everybody who picked before I chose cheat, theif, geek, and lunatic. Is would be very crazy, crazy, crazy for me. No get it wrong, ME NO CRAZY REAL LIFE!

I reckon the most popular playing peice is likely merchant (yellow).

I always use the looney, maybe coz of the purple my preferated color ( girls like this color lol), or maybe it reminds me the looney tunes that i still like to watch (i am not a kid have 29years lol).
If somebody take it before me i use to take the scientist (maybe coz i have medical studies and there is some relations with scientist)
if not i use the philosopher (sometimes ... i am, talk and talk and explain, lol)

I just have by far too much time on my hands lol.

But I'm still curious. The more I think about it the more curious I get lol. It's like they reckon (psychology folks) that rooms in certain colours can influence people. So put that into GM, when you start buying properties your characters colour shows by the side of what you've bought. So I wonder if there are any colours that are stronger and more influencing on people. Or should I just shut up now

See, now I blame myself for having raised the suggestion which then lead to the course of events where by you won. You had to think about what peice to go with, had you selected the looney, it could have been different.
I can live in hope lol
