Logged in a TheNewBrownSandwich, then while waiting on a game my computer froze. I restarted the PC and when i tried to log in again under that same acct it said i was already logged in. Logged in with another acct and i see that my acct TheNewBrownSandwich is still sitting there waiting for a game, but i cant log it out any way. How do I fix this? _________________ FREEDOM! |

What occurs is that the sever glitches and doesn't realize you have disconnected and/or logged out.
Normally, you are able to log in under that account anyway. I've often seen 2 Jackminnnows in the lobby at once, before the one I logged out from finally disconnects, as the server corrects itself.
Why you were unable to log in under the same name is perplexing because I've never experienced that problem before. Only the aforementioned scenario I described has occurred to me. I could postulate that you need edit the capitalization of your name to log in with the same one, say use TheBrowNsanDwicH or something, but this is pure speculation.
Likely a new update since my 1.5 year absence of frequenting GM was implemented that corrects the first problem of being logged in with the same name twice, but now presents a new problem of being unable to log in with said name if the sever fouls up. |
