Are you suggesting Prince should not of banned boss for explicit language of sexual nature and that aidisim should of simply muted and not report?
If we were to have such a method then it would soon get around that nobody need mind their words, which would expose decent players, and potentially youngsters to have to witness such when they are unaware that mute is available. Is this therefore acceptable to you?
I would love to have a profanity filter in place, but we do not have one and doesn't look like there will be one any time soon. But should kreso decide to make improvements, be sure it will be very high on my list of suggestions to him!
May I again remind you Finger that you are asked to not place comments and remarks for complaints of which you are not directly involved. If you feel a miss justice may have occurred you can always pm an admin (myself or CYN). If you just wish to open discussion about a subject brought up via a complaint you may do this in either galactic magnate discussion, or the sauna.
I will not be reminding you again, next time the reminder will be in the shape of a short forum ban.
You may however answer this post as I have directly asked you a question.
It is the words "problem solved" which leads me to believe this was not simply advice to the user that they could mute the person so as not to see the words, I apologise if I am wrong but it comes across more as a dig towards moderators. |

It was advice to the user. I would never dare test the ego of a moderator by telling them how to do their job.
I was saying if you mute a player once they start carrying on; it doesnt get to a stage where the chat is explicitly vulgar.
And you cant ban me from the forum- I am the only one who posts here. _________________ I am the artist formally known as FINGERBANG! |

Thread being locked due to users inability to adhere to simple rules.
As it seems this is a common problem I will now start having moderators lock complaint threads as soon as they see them, even before a ruling has been placed. The thread will remain locked even after a ruling. If anyone disagrees with rulings they can pm myself, CYN or the moderator of which placed the ruling to discuss or have the complaint rechecked. If you wish to pass on advice to the reporter etc you may of course pm that user directly.
I'm sorry that it has come to this but sadly a handful of forum users cannot adhere to very simple rules of which have been in effect since 2009! |
