Countdown To 27th DECEMBER XMAS TOURNEY 2009

This tournament will be a bit different than usual with a table point system in place.

We need a minimum of 10 players, or the tournament will be cancelled.
In order to win in the final for overall 1st 2nd 3rd in tourney you will have played no less than 3 games.

A point table will be made for all games played. Depending on your end rank position at each game end you will receive the corresponding points: (see below)

For each game table point scoring will be as follows:

1st place = 3 points
2nd place = 2 points
3rd place - 1 points
4th place = 0 points
5th place = -1 points (you lose 1 point off your previous score)

This point table will be used to determine the winners of the bonus xmas prize and possibly deciding who goes through to final (dependant on numbers entered as exact structure cannot be determined until full numbers registered is known).

9k bonus for highest 1st place table points.
6k bonus for 2nd highest place table points
3k bonus for 3rd highest place table points
This will be unrelated to the final winners of the prize pool as per usual tournaments.

The final game will be held and 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place as per usual tournaments will win.
Entry fee points collected will determine the size of this prize fund.

1st - 50% total fund
2nd - 30% total fund
3rd - 20% total fund

All games will be either 4 player or 5 player depending on numbers registered. Exact format will depend on numbers registered, but in order to win 1st 2nd 3rd a minimum of 3 games will be played.

The Rules:

You must have minimum of 10k to enter
Entry fee - 5k
There is to be no cheat trades, as per normal games and rules.
There is also NO auctioning of any property you have previously purchased and own during EC (minus on start). You may auction ANY property still remaining on the board.
Please be available 15 minutes before start time.

If you need to withdraw, please post your withdrawal early as possible

To register post the account you wish to use and approx points you have.

If we have less than 10 players tournament will be cancelled.

If you do not withdraw before the start of the tournament and do not turn up, you will be charged entry fee.
