i would like someone to check the trade offers i received from cyndi2 through the game ,

offers include 3rd db for 800
2 dark blues for 2000 and 1 orange ( making a set) at start 35

Check all the trade offers he repeatedly sent me offers wanting me to give him two blues for one orange. the last offer i up'd his offer by 200 and he threw a fit. A player is not obligated to trade especially when it will benefit the other player more.

Right, I have looked over all the trade “offers” made within that game.

Firstly there was the “offer” by Cyndi for last dark blue for 800. The board was very heavily loaded. Sets yellow, brown, cyan, red, pink, blacks were all built up. She owned 4 extractors. Due to the board being heavily loaded I would expect pricing to be lower, as there will be the concern of upgrading and paying for landing around the board. However, this offer of 800 I feel is rather low, considering dark blue has 400 credit value. At such a low offer, I cannot see this would be beneficial to matt, who owned yellow and cyan already and was not desperately short of cash.
Although this trade offer may have been an attempt to start negations. I know some players like to start off low, and work upwards. This is of course fine. But the sending of a very low offer can cause annoyance to the other person. Thus creating a state of trading conflict.
Matt sent counter offers, 1 isn’t wonderful, but all offering by far more than Cyndi’s first in value. Matt I feel continued offers too long, although each was changed increasing the amount he was willing to give.
This is why I feel maybe a trade battle came into play. Cyndi was not getting any offers she was interested in, none were giving what she had shown interest in. But yes the counter offers by matt were indeed fair.

Basically I think a trading war began, neither getting offers for what they wanted. This is why I do think players when offering their first negotiation deal should consider if this is actually a good deal, or wanting just that bit too much. As this can cause trading conflict, making it harder to obtain a good trade.

To cut a long story short, none of the “offers” were accepted. Do I agree with the trade offers made by Cyndi? I can honestly say I think they were not very good.

Matt we are all here to play a game... GM... even Mods. If we didn't enjoy the game we wouldnt be here in the first place.

I am not commenting on any of the above trades, but imo mods are players here and get no 'special' treatment when it comes to games. I think Trace's last comment certainly makes that bold.

I am being unbiased here ok. Cyndi was playing her 'player' account (although even a mod acc is a player acc) and would be acted upon as a normal player, as with anyone else...

There is no decision in trace's reply that biases upon Cyn being a Mod.,.. believe me.

Jim , i am not saying anyone is biased , but i for once knowingly have never sent an offer which might be so dubiously one sided , maybe a couple of times when i got shit offers , i gavem shit offers back , just to show how funny thier offer is , never knowingly have i sent anyone an offer so outrageous.

The point i am making is the offer sent , was an unfair one , i think everyone should agree with it . i am used to playing around cheat , as u can see from the number of complaints i make. i have minimum every third game in which cheat offers and trades float around. so i am used to it .

i am not sayign mods should be anything different , they are the same players as me and anybody. but i am just surprised how can she do it ? i asked her the same question on chat and she gave me a reply similar to yours.
All i am asking is , as a mod isnt she supposed to set an example ? or u r saying no? she doesnt need to ?

I saw this game reported last night before I went to bed. I took a quick look over the trades, not thoroughly but just to see roughly what was what. I was pretty shocked at the first offer, the 800 for dark blue. I have re-looked over the game today as well.

As matt has posted my quote from the other week. Yes I believe mods (although as players have every right to mess up from time to time) should by and large be trading within the rules, and not making trades or offers that could be classified as a cheat trade. Accidents happen, and I think every human being can accept that. But yes, I do not like, or approve of any moderator, be that current or future making trades that are not within the very rules they are here to uphold.

However, I also understand each person holds a different strategy on trading, and that opinions may differ.

Believe me, there is by no means any special treatment. If anything I am pretty tough on moderators.

Lastly, lets make this the end of this please.

when the greater population on gm is docked points or warned or even banned for sending unfair trade offers then i expect the same rules to apply to mods

OK if you choose to try to slander me and say i need to set an example AT LEAST get the facts straight. I am not surprised Matt didnt state all the facts but i am very surprised Trace didnt, but no matter...
First of all.......
When i offered matt (ONE OF MY "THREE" OFFERS) 800 for one blue, there was 110 at start, He HAD Teal fully loaded and Yellow fully loaded HOWEVER Econgrl had pink with 2 built on it and Goiano had Red FULL and Brown with 4. Matt only had 1397 cash, Gioano only had 490 and econgrl had 611. If i built blue and he had money they would go in negative and have to sell houses off of red and pink which were the biggest threats.
Now for the one that he questions so much at the end. He repeated offered me one orange plus cash for TWO blue, the cash went from 800-1500 one offer after another.
After his 1500 offer i sent him an offer of TWO orange plus 800 for one blue. He came back with offer for 1600 then 1700. THEN HE OFFERED ME 1800 AND THE THIRD BLUE FOR 2 ORANGE, I COULD HAVE TAKEN THAT OFFER BUT IT WAS UNFAIR TO HIM SO I COUNTERED WITH TWO BLUE FOR 2000 PLUS ONE ORANGE...THINK ABOUT IT GOD. BEFORE YOU SLAM PEOPLE YOU NEED TO LOOK AT THE FACTS! He was going to give me third blue AND 1800 for two orange???????
