Does one lose points if their connection fails? I've been having trouble with my delicate dial-up (I pray for the day when I can afford broadband) and am wondering what happens to points. Also, can I request a rematch with the player who I left inadvertently?

If your connection goes and you lose because of it. Then you do lose the points i'm afraid.

Is it possible to request a rematch with the player that won and have points temporarily restored until the match is won/lost by skill? (If there's a win, all points are restored. If lose, the points stay with the opponet.)

I can't see how that would work. I think any option to restore points from connection problems is likely to be open to abuse because anybody could claim they lost connection whether they did or not

Yes, but couldn't the mods check if a connection was really lost? and also if the player sent an error report?

There could be an option to resume the game in the next, say, ten minutes. But then again, like in the case of other good suggestions, is subject to Kreso modifying the game, which is unlikely.
