For information I checked the trade first, before even looking at the chat log. I immediately thought looking at the trade that this was most likely a case of the money going the wrong way round. I believe lifttheburden intended to gain 1200 cash not give it.
On checking the chat log I can see this is clearly the case by his comment the moment the trade went through.

It was then a case of cheat trade getting called out, at no point did ANYONE mention to reverse, and do it as intended with the money the other way.

The trade is IMO a cheat trade as it did not BENEFIT both players.

It did however clearly ruin the game, but as evidence points to it being unintentional, I will rule it at 25% reduction both players.

mercedes trades must be beneficial to both, the maths on base value is one thing, but the trade was of no use to anyone but you. Please take more care when accepting trades, as usually both trading parties receive 50% reduction for cheat trades.

Yes i got it wrong. I had 1200 from me and should have been the other way. I then said so in the chat as you have stated. Then i was getting abuse from other players and so after a few rolls i quite as rec was soon and i was minus 800 in the game.

Trace you not only admit this in you notes but you reward the complaint by your verdict.

What that says to me is that anyone who has a complaint about anything in the game it will be held by you with a deduction on the player who might have got it wrong!

I went into the game as the highest points (i think about 20k) and came out first (so thats 5k straight away) and then you deduct 25% ontop of that!

WHAT IS YOUR POINT???

Now that you can log the chat can i make complaints about being accused of cheating? Will you deduct points for that? Isnt that not playing in the spirit of the game? Again you stick your nose into something that has nothing to do with rules and it will get blooded.

My ruling was based on all evidence and facts. I stated clearly I believed this was a trade made in error. However there was no attempt made by anyone to reverse it.

I understand why you quit, but at the same time your mistake ruined the game and gave mercedes a big advantage.

What would you like me to do, give mercedes a 50% reduction for accepting a cheat trade (even though it was a mistake by you) and not do any reduction on yourself?

Hell I can't flaming win can I? Imagine any other decision I'd of made, ie: no reduction to anyone - oh yes, i'd get moaned at. reduction of 50% but none for you - oh yes I'd get moaned at. - 50% both players - oh yes I'd get moaned at.

I dont mind the points but if my name is on here due to someone thinking i have cheated then i care. I only play, like most others for a bit of fun and not to have to come on here to answer the likes of YOU!

You want to win? Tell the crying sod to grow up and deal with the fact that its a game and stop wasting your time. A trade was made i made an error and someone benifited from the trade which meant every player in that game gained points as i had almost double most others.

Samoa get your facts straight first , second learn how to trade , if you are playing long enough you should know this, guess you are too special to understand things too easily
If one (stupid) trade ruins the whole game , of course you have to be penalized for it , what else do you expect ?
Just thank your stars that you weren't penalized 50% for it. And stop taking on mods for no reason. Its ppl like you who are ruining the atmosphere in the forums.

I am saying this all from a third person point of view , i am not a friend of trace or your foe , just learn to accept your mistake , if you are playing this game long enough you should know points are nothing , you can win one , lose one. it is no big deal, but your conduct after all is there for everyone to see , and everyone knows how good a sport you are now, thank yourself .

show some RESPECT to people who give time which they do not have , they are human beings as well. with families , friends and life apart from this game.
