I was in a 2p game yesterday with mrtavladan.

After endless stalls before each and every roll, i asked him why he was taking so long. His reply was "I am on the phone"... but it kept going on... no apology, nothing.

After asking again he exclaims "I have a job you know". I didnt know whether to laugh at this idiocy or try and squeeze through the screen and slap him for such a stupid comment! I replied that I also have a job, but I choose my time for a game so that I do not inconvenience others.

Anyway, after another half hour of this and a LONG pause.. I said "PLAY!"... to which he responds "DIE!!"... Nice guy hey.. lol

Right, to me, as I was in that particular game, I feel ruling against it would be biased, but the facts and admittance of his stalling is right there in the logs. I hereby request another mod to please look into this and act accordingly. I reckon a warning would suffice.

NOTE TO ALL PLAYERS: Yes... we all have to answer the door or see to unforeseen interruptions, which is understandable... but please people, choose your times. The most frustrating thing is sitting through a game that takes decades because someone else is being blatantly selfish. We ALL know how this feels. Just be considerate is all I ask.

This is the second complaint on mrtavladan for stalling in games. The previous complaint he became abusive so was issued a ban.

Having checked the logs for yesterday and today. The stalling is definitely very irritating. The same user also requests other to use give to save time, yet seems not bothered about wasting others.

On the stalling alone, I will warn that on a 3rd stalling complaint we will take it to a ban.

On checking chat logs for today as well, I have seen signs mrtavladan maybe using abbreviated forms of swearing.

I am going to issue a short 3 day ban, as all facts are not overly conclusive but I feel his attitude towards others may cause issues, as observed in logs. I have chosen a short ban to draw these points to his attention.

On any further stalling complaints, especially if verified by logs will be treated with a ban.

The ban was to draw the issues to your attention (as I stated). Not for you to come to the forum to start abuse at a moderator.

Besides the belligerent attitude, I think that any time taken for a move is acceptable at the player's own risk so long as it isn't blatantly stalling. However, it would be nice if the player could say "I'm thinking" or something. (or if they are busy at least say so and/or request a pause)

mrtavladan ban extended to 30 days from today, for abusive comments to moderator.

If you behave this way again to a player or moderator it will become a instant Max length ban.

This doesn't surprise me. I've seen this behaviour from mrtavladan in the past. We are better off without him

I believe there is a learning experience in this.

We need to find a way to attract and retain higher quality players and find a way to instill a positive change in the trolls.

While I concede temp bans are a necessary fact of life I think we could come up with some form of incentive to keep them on the right side of the line without resorting to harsher tactics.
