2 player game,

Myself as jackminnow, opponet as nadd1.

Halfway through game, nadd1 trades me a brown for my yellow with me paying 2350.

An absoulte cheat trade if i saw one.

If possible please return my pts and warn or ban nadd1.

Trading in 2p has never been classed as cheat trades.

The subject has come up before, but as things stand we still do not treat as cheat trades.

You just have to be careful what trades you accept.

I don't understand. The trade benefited me in no way whatsoever. I was decieved into beliving it was fair and I was getting 2000 cash for my yellow as well as a brown. I lost because of this on near to my next few rolls.

The trade appeared as if I was recieving money. It made me pay.

Ok, maybe it was my mistake, but after I asked nadd1 to reverse it he didn't.

I did play another game, 3 player with Gladious and nadd1, later that night. Halfway though the game, nadd1 apologized. I believe he is a new player and didn't know he made a bad trade. HOWEVER, he made another iffy trade in that 3 player game. He wanted to give me his dark blue and 100 money for my 2 cyans. I didn't accept this as I felt this was risky.

I'm not sure how to assess the knowledge of this player. If he's truly new and ignorant, fine. If he's experienced and deceptive, then a ban or a warning is needed.

I can't decide on what to do about this player, but most importantly, I just want my points back as I need all the help I can get.

Yes, but we were basicly at an impass. Every property besides some ultilities were blocked with one player owning 2 and the other owning one. The game was lasting forever so a trade was the best option. However, this ended in disaster.

there isnt any cheat trades in 2p, you need to watch your trades. If game was at an impass then you roll and let luck decide. Points are not given back and you lost, move on.

I'ts okay..... I only lost about 500 points, although it feels like 5000 on this terrible steak...... I'll just wait and try to get the points back somehow.

If you accept a trade in 2p it's your responsibility. You're not in a position to ask to get points back from your own mistake, just learn from it
