I'm feeling poetic today, so I'd like people to post their favortite poems (or songs if plasuible) or any other work of literature that is gripping. Here's one which I can't remember the name.

"I am the stone that the builder refused,
I am the visual; the inspiration
that makes ladies sing the blues.
I'm the spark that makes your idea bright,
the same spark that lights the dark,
so that you can know your left from your right.
I am the ballot in the box; the bullet in the gun;
the innner glow that lets you know to call upon your sons;
the story that's just begun; a promise of what's to come,
and I will remain a solider until the war is won."

Another really good one is "Pioneers! O Pioneers!" by Walt Whitman which I have already posted eslewhere.
