When you receive a fortune asking for recession or progress what is your general reaction?

Do you always pick recession? Only when recession is nearing?

Do you shun progress?

What is your reasoning behind your choice?

depends on the position of the game, if i have the best income - always choose recession

I like there to be as much money as possible in the game.

I never choose recession and always say yes to progress.

I will only say no to a bonus if its after recession and forces me to cross start. I will say yes to a bonus even if it means someone can make an upgrade. I'd rather have the extra money to pay for a hit then to pay with what I currently have.

Also bonus speeds the game, for the people that always choose recession I see a lot of them saying no to bonus, even when it won't help someone to upgrade. I just don't see the logic in that.

I want as many bonus as possible, as much money as can be made for all opponents. I want them all to have a better position than me so that if I win its all the sweeter.


Beat someone with orange and brown when they have green and cyan and watch them twist in the wind. That is the best.

Recession - depends if I need the game to be fast.
Or if I'm doing well. If its 2p or 5p makes a difference. 2p unless I need recession to hold off I often say yes.

When I first used to play and didn't have much of a clue what I was doing, I always went to bonus coz I thought it would be rude not too. lol

Ditto. I'm for exactly the same reasons. If I'm doing well keep the other players below me. If I need money to catch up, Heck No!
