on +170 on start rikk open 3d green for CKY , just seconds earlier they traded rikk give CKY 2 greens for 3d red - thats ok .
but he open green an buy it for 1500. he said he open becose he need cash to upgrade red, but he buy it for 1500 and just roll later he sell it to CKY for 1200?!?
that never was trade that he will inprove his position. At time of trade I was with fully upgraded light blue so posible i was winning(had 3 whites as well)
he had reds and with +170 on start he was with best chance for second place.
In fact that trade did not help him to improuve at all, he just help CKY win the game.I finished 2nd , Rikki 3rd.
please investigate.

Ok the trade was at 170 on start.

maths wise I can't see the logic in opening green and then reselling it for 1200, if he bought it at 1500 (-20% = 1200). So no gain was made. There had not been an attempt to sell the green for higher.

So I do see where your coming from, as he was no better off for auctioning and then selling.

However the trade of 1200 for green was beneficial to both.

With the cash both had at the time, rikki could get 3 upgrades (almost 4) on red. So they'd be up to 150/210
With the green after trade, would leave only enough cash for 2 upgrades (without using credit) putting green's on 100.

So I do have to pass the trade as acceptable, however I do understand why this looked quite odd.

Just want to add that this 2 guys can do the same next time they play just the other way round, CKY to rikki . as i see they wont have any problem with mods.
After that trade on +170 rikki lost his chance to finish 2nd, and thats main in cheating.he was never going to improuve his position.only 1 player get obligated of the trade.
And another fact i was just going to offer rikki 1100-1200 for the green , but never had that chance as they traded really very very quick(not saying that they are teaming, but for sure very very strange so quick trade , so cheap)
And something else , rikki said in chat that the game is very boring as I am going to win 100% so thats why he will make it more interesting! you can check the chat. Well ruining a game is not making it interesting, in fact he made the game very predicted so i dont know what he was talking about.
Please other mods check it out please.

P.S. Trace I have deep respect to you , but just as I read your post this time I dont see it so clear like other post of you that investigation is aways perfect.

i would be po with anyone fiddling with green so early in game. if i was in game and that trade happened i would have cracked up something fierce. it is downright stupid to think you can win once green is open and esp with 170 still at start....dont think it was a cheat trade but it surely was DUMB!!

Unfortunately for you i have to agree with Trace on this one. While i really think what they did stinks especially with the chat that happened. The bad thing is that it really isnt a "cheat" trade BUT a very poor thing to do. I dont see how to punish since it officially wasnt a cheat trade HOWEVER with doing it, i agree it did ruin the game and this kind of play is frowned upon.
My suggestion is that Bill make a ruling in this one as to if there should be some kind of punishment, or a talking to by him to refrain from making this kind of play in any future games.

i agree with trace & cyn

its very difficult to punish some1 for bad trades unless its proved that its a cheat trade
but still we will keep an eye on all this & if we will find some players doing it delebrately we will take some action
