To post a screen shot of your desktop do the following:
While viewing your desktop press "Print Screen"
Open Microsoft Paint or similar application.
While holding "Control" press "V"
Save the file
Surf to www.imageshack.us
Select browse and highlight the file you just created.
Press upload.
You will be taken to a page with a large link saying "Direct link to image"
Select the entire link and press "Control" and "C" then come back here
Press control + v again and place the url in img tags.
Voilą
