What was up with all the rubbing it in everytime I landed on your props? Or the "oh so subtle" comments like "oh, that's an interesting trade"- totally dripping with subtle accusation of...? What?


I didn't get mad or anything, didn't lash out or starting flying off at the handle, like you obviously wanted me to. I just left the game. Yet you continued into the lobby, with the "Why don't you say gg Elvis?" And I told you I didn't feel like saying "gg" on account of you making little comments everytime something bad happened to me. And even then I finally did say gg, if it would get you to back off of me.


Come on dude. Show a little more class than that. You're supposed to be setting the example here.

elvis going by the date you joined this community. how can you make a judgement on bill based on a few games you played with him... your post is complete rubbish. to me it sounds like you have an agenda as well. i have read your past post in the complaints section. and the judgement given by bill was correct. if youve only been playing this game for under a year you still have alot to learn.

so basicly to me you are still a newbie to the community and game your post should be deleted who cares if bill gave you abit of shit as long as it was done in a respectful manner so before you start attacking anyone in this community start with something that has rellivance if any which was a breach of the rules.

sorting petty issues in here isn't the way to do things in GM have the nerve to confront bill in person rather than try to insight a flaming post for all to see

I am just stating what happened today, and that I wasn't very happy about it. Is it part of a pattern? I have no clue. But even as it was obvious to me I made it clear to Bill and others that I didn't appreciate it. And while I'm waiting for a response from him, you interjecting yourself into it is something I'm going to ignore for now. I don't have time for opportunists.

just to add some light on this issue .

yes i did play you earlier, and yes it was on a name that noone knows of mine,
i do this for many reasons, a few of them being :-
1) constant complainants i like to see how they play to see if they are damn right unlucky, or if they incite the problems upon themselves
2) i like to get to know players, and the only way you can know them is by playing them
3) spot checks are done by myself to make sure games are clean and i like to watch newer players play to see how(not if) the game is evolving to suit new players.

anyway back to the point here.
i was NOT trying to wind you up, or instigate any problems, let me explain what my words were meaning in that game.

1) ''interesting trade'' = lets see how that affects the game as i didnt expect it.
2)''finally'' meaning about time you landed on my purples to give me some income.
3) ''yay'' = was just saying i was happy to go jail at the time i did.
4)''gg''= a gracious exit from a game whether it be a win or loss, its always nice to just say gg or wp, as then that player will want you to play them again.

as you can see i was not trying to rub nothing in that i was winning, i was just talking, is that such a crime?

as for trying to bait you after the game, i wanted you to say gg just to show some gratitude for the game, as i thought i played a very good game to be honest.and that was with your noobish trade offers which were clearly not to benefit anyone BUT YOU.

i mean come on, at +225 i received an offer for my white off you for 800, when clearly i had it from about +250 and it was part of my strategy.
so would you say that , was fair ? even if i had low money do you think it was fair on the 3rd player if i accepted?

and not once in this post have i belittled you, ridiculed you nor baited you to instigate an argument, but if you want a war on credibility, i will leave the community to have their say on this matter, as there is one player on this game that oozes credibility and respect from other players and that is ME.

one last thing.
Jarod, is not english, and i would not expect him to write every word of english perfectly, if he did he would be in the uk working, so i dont see how you trying to degrade him by respelling words for him can help any situation. personally i think jarod is an excellent example of a good player here.

I DO remember saying that I don't think you baiting people is acceptable behavior for anyone, much less a moderator.

You've run down a list of some of the things you said- and while you have an explanation for each of those things individually- taken together without explanation in the context of the game was certainly IMO baiting me to get a negative reaction. Let's look at them, shall we?

#1. The "interesting trade" comment- based on your previous commentary towards me, this one was dripping with a subtle but clear accusatory tone- like you were saying "something funny going on here?" I let it slide and said nothing other than "Yes, it is." BTW- if anyone doubts anything I'm saying, let's have Trace take a look at the chat logs.

#2. "Finally" I didn't have a problem with this statement- people do this all the time

#3. The "yays" everytime I landed on your purples were annoying, but I said nothing.

#3b. The "woots" just reinforced in my mind that you were trying to get a reaction out of me- but instead of lashing out or crying, I just said "woot" back everytime you said it- to the point that you asked "why are you repeating what I say". Again, I kept quiet and didn't start anything.

#4. The gg thing was after i had left and you engaged me again in the lobby. Specifically "Hey Elvis, no gg?" And I replied "Nah". Then you wouldn't let it go and came back with something like "Why not? Why won't you say good game?" And I replied, "Because I didn't think it was very good sportsmanship, you making little comments everytime something bad happened to me, and I didn't feel like saying it" That's when someone said that you were really Bill in the lobby, and I knew that you had been trying to bait me. Which kind of irked me at that point. I mean, what did you expect? That I would lose my mind or something, go off on you? That's not the type of player that I am. If you don't like my trade offers (which you said you didn't) I suggested you make counter offers and we go back and forth until we meet in the middle. That's how I do it. I don't go offering a high price right away- I prefer to haggle and negotiate. At least that's how it's done in the real world. If you don't like my style (which you also said) then so be it. Don't accept the offer. Or counter offer. But don't act like I've done something wrong by starting at the low end.

#5. You also neglected to mention this gem from you- "How does it feel getting beaten by a newb?"

You clearly were trying to get under my skin. Did I lose it then? Nope. but the intent was clearly there. And again, if anyone doubts, let's have Trace take a look at the chat logs. My memory of this game is crystal clear.



As far as this other person "not being English" or whatever, I could care less. He's the one who stuck his nose in without knowing any facts. He's the one who chose to try to belittle my complaint as "rubbish". And he's the one who was "questioning my intelligence". i just chose to help him spell it. But I'm not going to take what he says to me seriously anyway, as I don't know him from a hole in the ground.


Now Bill, you can take this wherever you like. If you want to further sanction me, that's certainly within your power. I'm willing to forget it, leaving others out of it. But I wanted you to know that I did not appreciate it then- and that was before I found out that it was you (either testing me or baiting me or however you want to characterize you comments towards me). After I found out it was you, I have to say, I was very disappointed...

im not even turning this into an argument.

ask any player here, and you will be told that i ALWAYS play with ''yay'' ''finally'' etc in my game, this was not to bait you in any way shape or form, i dont know what your problem is but it seems you are on the defense for nothing from the minute i won that game.
ill be honest , it may be arrogant, but i knew within 5minutes of that game i had won, due to 5yrs of play time i get quite good at predicting the outcome early on.


now as for taking this onto any other level than it deserves i am ending this feud here, and now,
i dont know what your defences are up for , as i only played you in a game,
but yes i did say ''how does it feel to be beaten by a noob'' thats because your game was played with such swagger and arrogance, and as for me saying ''wooot'' was actually as i remember when i went to jail, because at that points you and the other guy had been to jail once and that was my 4th time, just as you two were coming round to land on me, but from thestart you kept copying my every word, .

I never said two words to you- I think I said "Yes it was" and then "woot" after you said "woot"- that's it. Other than that I hardly said a word, other than maybe a "lol" when you complained repeatedly about my trade offers and my suggestion for you to make a counteroffer.
