4P game.

wind
hbic
volvoo (me)
Game start about 2:55 AM Sweden time on 6-March-2009
Player wind have 3 blacks.
On about +110 hbic open 4th black and wind take it for 1100 only
I m just wondering why hbic did that - why did hbic open 4th black and then why he/she didnt bid more than 1100 in the time hbic had more than 3500
I won the game and the game was clean and wasnt any cheat in.
Hbic was 4K and alla other players was over than 15K ---- May be this is the reason.
If so why we let new players to distroy the 4/5 games ?

Sometimes newer players don't realise that prices are generally higher in 4/5p games than 2p.

As the player was new I guess they either under valued the last utility, or did not want to lose cash by ending up with it. Maybe they had a plan that needed them to keep their cash.

A few hundred below the usual price isn't really cheating is it? We all have slightly different valuations.

Depends on the cash position etc.

But 1100 for last black is generaly cheap, in a 4p the last black to complete the set is worth around 1500/1600 to me.

I played a 4p the other day and toon got all the black for under 4k because the person with cash wouldnt bid.

Yeah it happens quite often with the blacks. They are frequently undervalued in multiplayer, but unless we want to start an education program, then there's not much can be done!

Imagine u r on 4P game and other player have 3 blcks then other player open 4th black and dont bid more than 1100 on +110 in the time the opener have more than 3500 ---------- wha will u do ?
Yes Judd 4th black on 4/5 P game not less than 1500 but Judd believe me in this game it s worth 1700.
