football can be very enjoyable.
some of the best games of football, i have seen have ended up 0-0.
if a game ends 0-0, it usually means one of two things:-
* 1) both teams were really well organised, and the keepers had a really good game, and obviously both managers tactically cancelled each other out.
*2) both teams strikers cannot shoot to save their lives, this event then does become really boring to watch.

but . . .

what you have to remember, in a 0-0 draw you finish the game with what you started, thats a point., and to some teams in the league, going to one fo the top teams and gaining a point, is very much like a win to them, because they are expected to lose.

Well thanks bill for convincing me that football is more boring then what i thought lol. The way u hav said that seems to be

1) both teams had a good match for no benefit
2) Teams r crap therefore boring

and the bottom bit u say"" The game started the same way it finished"" which mans u literally saw nothing. U can enjoy it if u want but to me it sounds like a waste of time.

but as i say. some teams getting a point (0-0) draw is sometimes, as good as a win.
another example of a person watching a game n hoping for a 0-0 draw, is say Man Utd are top of their league , and chelsea and Liverpool are behind them by 3 points both.
Man Utd supporters will hope for the two to play and stay 0-0 because this will not give either team a 3 point win and a chance of catching Utd on points.
so in this sense a draw is very much good .

lol actually it is! there have been many riots around the UK over football! but i dount get how people can sit n watch people hit a ball catch it or run round a feild! i mean in cricket thats all you do, in football at least you get dirty tackles where someone might break the other persons leg or summet, the only other sports like that are rugby n racin where you get crashes

Well with cricket its all about balling the perfect line and length and hitting the perfect shot at the best time. This makes crickt alot more skillfull. Luck games cause riots lol. I remeber wtaching the soccer world cup and australia had made it to the quarter finals against italy. The thing was the itlians were had one guy with a red card( actually 3 yellows except the reff didnt notice he had given 2 already lol) anyway we were dominating and shouldve won it untill 20 seconds from full time the aussie ws given a harsh penalty inside the rectangle giving italy the free shot and the win. In the end italy went on to win it. Now thats gonna cause a riot lol.

muffin i agree that italy did rob you in the wworld cup and that you deserved to win the game no matter what anyone says.

as for cricket did you see that guy yesterday set a record for hitting a ''6'' on every ball in ONE over?

i think its been done only 4 times in history of cricket but NEVER in the twenty20 cup before
