On some things we are stuck with what the board design by the company who create it allow. |
This is an open source board, you can change just about anything you want to. Many of the changes I suggest require FTP access as you will have to upload modified files and/or new files.
I just think if you give people more personalization options they are more likely to want to spend time here.
Facebook, myspace and twitter have greatly changed people's expectations of online experiences. Maybe for the worse in my view but hey, to each his own right. _________________ All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be |

I do know there are certain things we can't alter, as only kreso can. I don't have full access, only kreso does.
There maybe some options we can possible use to alter how the forum looks. But I need to speak to Bill about this. |

Post subject: Live formats thread |
|
|
Hello,
With the game being played in so many different formats, it is a bit difficult to keep track of all the things that are going on. For instance we have
1. 2x2 team games
2. Galactic Casino
3. 2p games for the usual +/- 16%points.
4. 2p challenge
5. 4/5 p games for big points
6. Any tournaments/leagues in the immediate future.
7. Stuff like helping newbies, etc
Could the moderators maintain a single "live" thread, one which is kept up to date with edits, and one which links to the relevant threads,.so there is no confusion as to what formats are/are not allowed, and we have these things in a single place. |

A new forum section for the unrated gaming options is in the pipe line (I asked Bill about it other day in mod section). Should help a bit. All threads related to the unrated games will be moved over and generally tidied up to make it easier for players and mods to keep track. |

I second that point. Great idea. Any hint on what it's going to be called? |
