Hey all, I know there's been a ton of posts about people who are "ruining" the game... people who make the cheat trades, scam trades, etc. People who have multiple accounts, teaming, playing in internet cafe's together...

Let's have a thread to recognize good, decent players who are honorable, play fairly, and are fun to play with, whether it's a 2p game, or a 5p rumble in the Bronx.

I'd like to start this theme off with Treasure... I just played two 2p games against him, and he was fun, decent, and when the game turned in my favor at the end and he obviously was going to lose, he was decent about it, ended quickly, and we rematched. Hats off to Treasure for being an upstanding member of the GM community.

Well, good is always a personal judgement.
Just because I think a player is good doesn't necessarily mean that someone else would, but I wanted to give kudos to Treasure for playing intelligently, and still having fun in the game.

My games against Treasure this morning reminded me of why I like this game so much. At the beginning of each game, instead of saying "good luck", he said "have fun" and he meant it.

So, you can list players because they are skillful, cunning, nice, good conversationalist, whatever you feel qualifies them as a good player in your book where if you were to end up in a game with them, you'd think "all right, this should be a good game" as opposed to "oh man, not a game against him".

Ok I nominate WhiteShark, (he has other names too). Played yesterday and he beat me. He was fun and cool, and beat me with good skill.

Also, yeah Treasure is cool - except he is stalking me in revenge for me having given him a sound thrashing a few times

so ,, the deal is

i win 20 games ina row.. where i play so much, my head is on straight, i have a fool proof strategy. (strategies) where i am almost unstoppable.. i don't know if youc an check those logs.. but i won A LOT of games in a row.. all in 24 hours. (i know obsessed)

then.. i will obviously have to sleep.

then ,, i will come back the next day,, or i will have played till the wee hours and am sooo tired i can't think anymore.. start losing few games
then come back. play. and lose
a bunchhhh of games lol

WAIT till im unstoppable. hopefully i play you then lol. i think i beat you once or twice.. i do make a lot of mistakes thoughh... blah

but i do try my best to have a good game and say have fun.

Well although i have played a LOT of games in my GM career, I can't think of a single person i've played that wasn't a "good" player. Even the cheaters I ran into kno how to be honorable in SOME of the games I played. But to get to the point, I would like to say to all of my "enemies" that I wish u the best of luck and thanks for all the laughs and competition. And omg, who has played the most games? They should get an award. K now I have to study for my Econ test. Nothing like monopoly to teach u about money!

Maybe we can have the computer calculate a descriptive score for certain key characteristics, like risky, calculated, auction fee hunter, competitive, ...

I got this idea from the Tour de France where you have separate competitions for sprints, mountains, ...

I have to give kudos to 72dylan. No matter when I play him/her I get beat. I have tried changing strats and it just does not matter. But he/she is always cool and respectful.

Yeah, Dylan is a nice dude. Cant say I have ever lost to him, but he is very polite.
