| I believe what she means is "If a player makes a cheat trade, and a Mod asks nicely to reverse it, but the player does not (and is belligerent,) what action would you take?" Am I close? If so I would cut points by 50% and give a 8 day ban. If the player is new or just ignorant and didn't know it was a bad trade, I would issue a warning. If the player knew it was bad (really wanted to win) but was at least courteous, I drop pts by 25% and give 3 day ban. |

I believe all first offenses (you didn't specify) deserve a warning only. I may not even take points depending on the situation.
In that situation I would probably give them a strong warning with the implication if the action is repeated it will be met with much more severe consequences.

We all know what you're referring to. An unfair trade, even if it is unintentional, should be and is punished unless it is reversed. Trades made in error which are extremely borderline upsets people, but are usually not ruled as cheat - there are forum posts where people have complained about trades made in error, but i havent seen any action yet. This particular trade benefitted only one party, so it was correctly treated as a cheat.
About the swearing part, I dunno. It really depends on luck, and which mod you're dealing with. No two decisions will be the same.
