| Post subject: Windowed or bust? |

| What's with the fullscreen display being mandatory for most laptops? I've heard numerous posts and comments that windowed modes were impossible for GM when using a laptop. Is this true for both Windows 7 and Linux? |

I have window7 on my laptop and i have choice between full or not. I never use the full screen

Its to do with screen resolution
1.2. Why can't I switch to windowed mode?
You can switch to windowed mode only if your desktop resolution is bigger that 1024x768.
