If he managed to get last black his income would be greater than gipsty's. 4th black was unowned.
The trade also placed him in a better position than yourself in that moment income wise, although you had a substantial credit buffer he did not.

I think luis could of given more cash, but regardless of this it is not a cheat trade as it had good benefit and advancing prospect for both.
