olaire starting sending really dumb offers to just about everyone finally happychappy accepted 1 for 1000 for two reds, when still in + ec. please have a look at this game. thank you for ur time.

i will have to let trace look into this one as far as i can see while it did not seem like the smartest trade i cannot rule it a cheat trade.

The red trade 2 red for 1000 start 90 does have logic to it, but it is equally a risky price to give.

happychappy had orange (full), cyan (full) and 1500 cash.

I can completely understand why olaire tries to sell the red, as he has just acquired greens and needs cash to start building (he at this point has dipped 200 into credit).

The problem with this trade to me is the fact happy will earn enough cash from the orange and cyan to build up pretty fast. By only taking 1000 he is not even giving himself 2 upgrades on green, but allowing happy to start building red immediately.

So the risk is with olaire that he may not manage to out do the orange, cyan and red with only green and black.

Base value of the 2 red would be 1200, so I think really at this stage this should of been 1200 upward to both cover base value, and gain enough cash to make full use of.

However later in the game still 90 start happyclapper trades the 3 red onto mekdinosaur for 3000. Also at this stage olaire is still 0 upgrades on green.
Whilst giving red for 3000 creates a very nice cash buffer for happy, and mek can immediately build, I do wonder why he traded them away when he was in position to build 2 upgrades right then, so in no time he would of been earning good money from them and very likely gain 1st.
So its almost like he risked 1st.

So really bit of a mess.

After K9 requested olaire to stop with the trade offers, he sent 1 more to K9 but this was literally only seconds after, so I have to not count that.
When K9 asked olaire to stop, Mekdinosaur also responded with ditto, he too was receiving bad offers.
There were 3 pretty bad offers made by olaire to mekdinosaur after this request.

Final ruling -

On the trade offers after request to stop I should be applying 50% reduction and 5 day ban. However as olaire is new on GM, I would rather try and draw his attention to trade rules, rather than go straight in with bans.

50% point reduction to olaire - for the sending of unfair trades after request to stop, and also conducting one accepted questionable trade.
This is the only warning you will get olaire, as ban's will be applied if this is repeated.

On the other two trades on red, I will let them go this time as we are talking of literally only 200-500 out from where would of been a fair price and the red then exchanged hands again changing the game in less favour to happychappy.

I will only add here that Olaire use to many f*** words in his/her chat in game so , i will worn he/she to reduce this kind of words before he/she get in worse problem .
