i am reporting this trade purley because it is bothering me. faceofconcern is a friend but i feel i must still report this shonky deal as i have been quick to report others for such trades.

with something like 145 still at start faceofconcern traded to jarco 3 cyan for 1000.
jarco already had brown and 4 black.
faceof concern had cyan and dark blue.
immediately the trade was done i completely lost interest in the game

Sorry but from what I can see this was just strategic play. While it was before ec, the standing rule from Bill is to not sell below value UNLESS it benefits both players to change their ending position. With this trade however it wasnt even below value. It was 1100. for the 3 cyan. There value when opened for auction is 300 a piece which would be 900. With that being said it was a fair trade even though most do not like seeing it being made.

it was too cheap for such a strategic piece of property and at such an early part of the game and am certain you wouldnt have liked it done to you in a game

i also agree with Cyn,
although it is highly frowned upon it is at the bare minimum of trade value to keep it legal, also i see that it benefitted both players as improving their positions.

Sorry helen i am not agree with u for this post.Well i think what judd did was not a cheat at all, i can understand he could have got a better deal with cyon set thats the only mistake he did.But to report some1 for this is not called for.

you can think and say whatever you like about me, i follow my own conscience. you may be able to turn a blind eye on a shonky trade because it was done by a friend but i cant.

one should not make excuses for friends crap trade and then turn around and condemn another.

I have to say that I would have been angered by that trade. Seems like an awfully cheap price (too cheap) to pull off a set. The judgement of faceofconcern failed here, because I think he could have gained more.

Helen, can I ask you a question? Firstly, do you believe that Judd and Jarco were deliberately working against you, or committed this cheat trade with intention? Secondly, how do you think mods should go about punishing 'Teaming' and 'Cheat' trades? Can we, as mods, also punish players who have a bad strategy, or make a bad trade?

I have made some dumb trades before that I would not call cheats, but ones that I could have made a lot more off of, whereas the other player gained more out of it than me for no other reason but laziness to raise the price up in the trade.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, I just wanted you to think about and answer those questions, because I think we need to seriously think about how we can really serve the general public.

i dont believe judd was intentionally teaming with jarco. i believe he just made a very reckless decision.

however i think jarco needs to be warned about the illegal offers he makes to others. he has already had his points halved for accepting an unfair trade, thus it appears he has a tendency to make/accept some very shady offers.

as for punishing bad traders...i believe IF they continue to make bad trades then yes by all means punish them. there is nothing worse than being in a game where you have worked your butt off to get what you have only to have it all shot to sh*t by greedy or stupid players.

i guess by posting this i am giving notice to all... be warned friend or foe do not make unfair trades if i am in game or i wiil report

this trade was NOT unfair nor a cheat, lots think a stupid or cheap trade is unfair or a cheat if they dont benefit or it puts them in bad situation. The trade made in this game while cheap and not real smart, was not a cheat or unfair.
