Report of a cheat trade was made to me in the lobby.

Game start time: 13.54 GMT

Players:
fifi25 (out of game by the time of trade)
noob1
sweden
cosy
hbic

Trade by cosy to sweden:
Taking, 2 extractors (making set of 3 extractors for cosy)
Giving, last green, and final 2 pink (giving sweden both full sets)

Start money +125

Cosy either resigns or disconnects 2-3 mins after trade accepted.

I am still making a final decision on this game.

I have finally made my decision on the above game.

This has not been easy, but I am now confident that my decisions are appropriate.

Cosy will be given a points reduction of 50%, plus a 5 day ban for persistent cheat trading.

Sweden will be given a points reduction of 50%.

I have looked very carefully at the entire game, and chat log to make my decision.

The trade accepted, of giving 2 pink and 1 green in return for 2 extractors falls into grey ground on its own. As its about advancing your position within the game. But whichever way this is looked at, both players are very experienced and would know this was an extremely unbalanced trade. Sweden did not make a counter offer for something fairer. This trade gave sweden 1st within the game without question.

Less than 2 minutes prior to the trade being accepted, cosy made the following statement in the chat "in fact i want noob to lose now".
Also cosy left the game within 2-3 minutes of the trade being accepted.

Sweden, I agree that you were not to know that cosy would leave the game. However as an experienced player, you should have picked up on the fact the trade was very unbalanced and would with almost no doubt give you first, and not necessarily advance cosy's game position.

Further to this, later in the game you made a pretty crazy trade offer to noob1.

Trade:
From sweden to noob1
Cash: 2500
Giving 3 brown.

You already had 4 upgrades on brown. 2 on pink. Plus cash to make a start on green upgrades.

Noob1 had only orange and cash.

Now for noob1 to buy 3 brown at 2500, then 4 upgrades at 400 each, this amounts to 4100 spent on brown with start at only 45. With most of the board upgraded, and the cash from this trade would of given you plenty to build on green.

I can only see that this was of advantage to you and detrimental to noob1. Now noob1 did not accept this trade, and I can't say I blame him/her.

I would also like to pick up on the assumption of players teaming, as this was raised early in the game, possibly not making for a good atmosphere.
Teaming does occur, but in fact it is relatively uncommon. Also as a moderator I would have to prove that it was not just simply players game plan. I just think it may be helpful to understand this.

I buy 3rd green for 700
Noob didnt bid on 3rd purple also.
When this trade happened I was sure it was very hard 4me to upgrade on Greens but what was happened that cosy resign and other player resignand the game was full of bounuses.
As u c I win but not easily. I also was lucky to win.
Noob have 4 whites freely 500-700.
Also have blacks freely.
Then Noob have 3 light blue freely. that alla bcz I have no money.
Noob with 6500 money and I m with greens and cant upgrade on it.
So why u say that this offer give me the game?
I start to upgrade on greens on +50 or +40 as u c and the game changed to be 2P game only. which money be very important andI m without money.
I told u on the lobby it was bad trade but not for 50% reducing.
Cosy also say he/she want me to loose and to be 4th after fifi resign.
It was bad game.
OK noob I reduc 50% but I will return this Acc back ---- Any way I win this game.

Joarad since u were not on that game u cant feel of it.
When I accept this trade I wasnt thinking or expect to upgrade on Greens.
I was poor of money.
I only want to upgrade on purples.
Player Noob was full of money.
Other player was full upgrade on light blue.
So plzz dont give ur opinion in the time u dont feel what the game was.
